Never Content Pop Up Shop
Never Content is a brand run by our friend Austin and his friends. While they’re based in Seattle, they have come down to Venice Beach to set up a wonderful event for the second year in a row. The team spent days preparing the pop up to make sure everything was perfect. More impressively, Austin and two of his friends, Vinnie and Kenzi, brought down their cars to display at the event. We are huge supporters of Austin and his brand and for that reason, we have camped overnight to be first in line for both last year and this year’s events. As a reward for patiently waiting, the first 25 people at the event received Never Content branded nobori flags.
This is Vinnie's Berlina Black NA1 NSX on some Dash White Te37 OGs. The simplistic take on this build proves that sometimes less is more.
When you enter the venue, you are immediately greeted with Austin’s Sunrise Red FD3s on display. For the last event the car was on a set of white Desmond Regamasters but this year he changed it with some Rays Gram Lights, with different finishes on either side of the car. The M-Sports front bumpers and side skirts truly emphasize the car’s body lines and really adds to the car’s presence.
Some of our favorite pieces of Austin’s FC is the custom Rocket Bunny diffuser that sits right below the Reinhard exhaust tips. The exhaust tips not only look great in the semi titanium version but also produce a breathtaking sound at idle.
Of all the parts on this amazing build, the cherry on top was the Car Shop Glow tail lights. They not only give the rear end an aggressive look but do a great deal to modernize the chassis.
The details all over the car allows the unique characteristic of this build to really shine. One such detail is the funny looking horn button that catches your eye as soon as you look into the interior. The horn button is actually a custom horn button featuring Austin’s dog, Dixie, on it. Right beside Dixie is the signature Ame-San of Re-Amemiya.
Later on during the event our good friend Josh arrived with his beautiful IS300 Sportcross. It's not often you see a Lexus wagon and even more rare to find one executed this well. The chrome Weds Vishnu’s fitted with the aggressive stance coupled with the chrome trim found all around the car results in a very well executed build. In fact, we have not yet seen an IS300 Sportcross pull this off.
